Dr. Dolores Goyette has been in chiropractic practice since 1993. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, she opened Goyette Chiropractic Center in Andover in 1999. Dr. Goyette has lived in the Andover area since 1995 and is an avid runner and tri-athlete, and mother of 2 young boys.Dr. Goyette’s areas of expertise are running-based sports (injury treatment and prevention) and golf bio-mechanics and fitness. She provides a hands-on, highly specific functional analysis of sports performance along with personalized treatment plans to achieve success on the course, field, or in the gym.
While her professional mission is to deliver highly specialized, outcome-driven chiropractic care to active children and adults her specialized training, experience and passion are focused on maximizing the enjoyment of recreational time and helping per clients in the realization of their athletic goals. Dr. Goyette aims to provide high value service based on in-depth functional, clinical and computer assisted analysis to get people back in action safely and quickly and to drive noticeable improvement in their athletic pursuits.
Dr. Goyette’s passion for human movement study was born out of a childhood immersed in ballet and other forms of dance. Her first teaching experience was as a high school student teaching ballet fundamentals to gymnasts and figure skaters. Noting the success of a multi-disciplinary approach to improving the performance of elite athletes, led Dr. Goyette to her pursuit of bio-mechanic specialization and to teach many different types of group fitness classes during her college years.
Dr. Goyette’s credentials in sports and fitness go back to 1988 with her first International Dance Exercise Association certificate and now include membership of the American College of Sports Medicine as a certified personal trainer and “Exercise is Medicine” initiative. She has attained certification as a golf fitness medical professional by the Titleist Performance Institute and certification as a Spinning indoor cycling instructor. She is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and is certified by Rutgers University Youth Sports Research Council as a S.A.F.E.T.Y. clinician. Dr. Goyette is an Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross and offers Sports Safety/ First Aid/CPR/AED certification classes.
