New York City Chiropractor Performs 1st Known Adjustment on a Patient With an Artificial Disk

Artificial disk recipient recieved the first known adjustment by a Doctor of Chiropractic in New York City. Dr.Jack Atzmon expertly administered the adjustment with excellent results.

(PRWEB) November 5, 2004 -- In early 2004 Mr. Perez traveled all the way to Australia to receive a disk implant in his neck. The surgery seemed a success and he felt better. While the excruciating pain was gone he still had dull pain in his neck. On Sept. 22, 2004, Mr. Perez asked Dr. Jack Atzmon, a Doctor of Chiropractic based in Manhattan to evaluate whether or not he was suitable for Chiropractic care. Dr. Atzmon performed a thorough exam of Mr. Perez.

Dr. Atzmon is a Doctor of Chiropractic who has been in private practice in Manhattan for 10 years. Dr. Atzmon began his career in New York working for the New York Center for Pain Management a RUSK Affiliate, where he worked side by side with Physicians. While there he had the unusual experience of working with many post operative patients. Mr. Perez however was the first artificial disk he ever encountered. Dr. Atzmon concluded Mr. Perez was suitable for Acute and Rehabilatative Chiropractic care. Neck adjustments were then done with Mr. Perez yielding excellent results.
