Meet the Omni Wellness Team

Christy

Christy is our newest edition and a office manager rising star. She is a native of Huntersville and a graduate of Hopewell High School. Christy started her medical career at Everest College, graduating in with a degree in Medical Assisting. From there she worked in internal medicine, where she became fascinated with the way the body functions and changes throughout life. This interest ultimately led her to chiropractic.

Outside of the office she enjoys playing softball and loves to cook. Her father always said ‘the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’ and that’s how she claims she “landed” her husband Jeremy.

Christy is passionate about getting her Mountain Island community well. Christy says “around here the tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; pecan pie is a staple; Ya’ll is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed.”

Sally

Sally is one of Omni Wellness Center’s greatest asset!  Her awesome personality and smile are sure to be evident as you come through the door.  Sally (lovingly called Sally-Mander) was born and raised in the Mountain Island Community and has recently been promoted to a well deserved Clinic Director.

Before coming to Omni Wellness Center, Sally attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC where she was an intercollegiate golfer and served as captain of the Women’s team. Throughout college she developed an interest in Chiropractic care and in 2009 joined Omni Wellness Center.

Sally coordinates all of our educational events in the community, as well as works with patients in the office to make sure all insurance and financial questions are answered.  Sally is passionate about educating the community on what a healthy lifestyle and chiropractic care can do for individuals as well as whole families. “I have seen what chiropractic care has done in my own life as well as in the members of my family. It is my job to make sure that doesn’t stay a secret!” Contact Sally to set up any lunch and learns, spinal screenings, appreciation days, or lectures for your work (or play) group!

Outside of the office, Sally continues to play golf and has recently finished her first triathlon. She is currently training for her first 10k.  She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying active in the Mountain Island Community.

Merissa at Medfast Billing

Merissa at Medfast Billing handles all of our billing needs and has done an outstanding job for us for over 7 years.  She is our patients biggest ambassador and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to try to make sure your insurance works for you.
