Dr. Ron Simms

After graduating with a Sports Medicine degree from Long Beach State University in 1988 Dr. Simms continued his education at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic graduating with honors in 1991.  He began his Chiropractic career in Long Beach where he practiced from 1991-96, before  relocating to his home town of El Dorado Hills in 1996 to start Simms Chiropractic. 

Dr. Simms is passionate about creating the area's most cutting edge subluxation based Chiropractic office, where families are reaching their true genetic wellness potentials .  He knows  that one can reach their true potential only when their brain is able to communicate with the body through nerves  that are free from interference .  He does this with specific spinal adjustments.   He has spent countless hours fine tuning his techniques and has earned a reputation as being El Dorado Hills and Folsom's top Chiropractor in the 2007, 2008, and 2010.  

His passion toward Chiropractic burns so strong that he started a greater Sacramento chapter of CORE, "Chiropractors on the Road to Excellence", banding together Wellness minded Chiropractors in a grass roots effort to change people's health perspectives and moving them toward the natural, drug-free, benefits of subluxation based Chiropractic care.  He is also an active member of the California Chiropractic Association .  He is committed to staying current with the advancements in the Chiropractic profession and each year puts in at least 2 times the continuing education requirements for his license renewal.  

Dr. Simms has been married to his wife Carie for over 20 years and they have two active sons, Tyler and Josh.  He and his family enjoy living in a natural Chiropractic lifestyle.  In addition to hanging out with his family he enjoys skiing, cycling, weight training, triathlons, coaching youth sports and bible studies. He is on the leadership team at Rolling Hills Christian Church, and is active in many other community activities.

Dr. Krista Rainwaters

Krista joins our team after serving the Reno, Nevada community for the past several years. In Reno she was active in educating the public about the chiropractic message, caring for patients, serving women and children through Soroptimist International, and enjoying all that Reno has to offer.

Dr. Krista was born and raised in New York where she earned her Bachelors in Science at St. Thomas Aquinas College and her Chiropractic Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. After achieving her degree, she moved to the west coast where she met her husband Nathaniel. As a Northern California native, her husband had a strong desire to return to his roots and settle in the Sacramento area. With great enthusiasm , Dr. Krista is here to serve the El Dorado Hills area and is excited to become connected with the community.
