Benjamin S. Lurie, B.S., D.C., C.C.S.T
The one name to be trusted in his service to his profession, loyal to his patients and a leader to his team is Benjamin S. Lurie, BS, DC, CCST. A driven chiropractic physician who consistently strives to pursue excellence in evaluating injuries involving the head, neck, back and extremities. His practice as been successful for over eleven (11) years in the treatment and care for optimizing spinal/extremity restoration and recovery involving the three steps of recovery. The acute phase, the repair phase and lastly the remodeling phase of tissue.
Dr. Benjamin S. Lurie considers his leadership, a part of his DNA. The son of a former City Commissioner/Mayor Pro-Tem and Mayor of Las Vegas Ron Lurie, Dr. Lurie received the prestigious “Clinical Excellence Award” at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2001. His leadership has supported cases in the Clark County court system as his testimony and expertise with both plaintiffs attorneys and defense attorneys is sought after in the understanding and education of patient trauma, their effects on the body and the treatment of such injuries with chiropractic rehabilitation/therapy.
A native of Las Vegas since 1969, graduate of Bishop Gorman High School (1988) and Southern Utah University (1993), Dr. Lurie serves a member of NCA (Nevada Chiropractic Association), ICA (International Chiropractic Association), ACA (American Chiropractic Association-Governor Board Member in 2008) and sits on the Board of Directors for The Boys and Girls Club of Henderson.
Dr. Lurie has assisted and participated in the 2009-2011 CA (chiropractic assistant) testing for the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada under the direction of the board's testing committee. Dr. Benjamin Lurie was appointed to the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada by former Governor Jim Gibbons in October 2010. Dr. Lurie is the current vice president of the Chiropractic Physician Board of Nevada, FCLB Alternate Delegate for Nevada - District IV and NBCE Alternate Delegate for Nevada - District IV. In June 2011, Dr. Lurie was nominate to represent Nevada in Greeley, Colorado as part of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners test committee for Part IV National Boards for the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 examinations.
Dr. Benjamin Lurie is a husband and father of four children, two girls and two boys. As an accomplished and enthusiastic management and health care professional, Dr. Benjamin Lurie has a proven track record of improving client relations and taking on various leadership roles. Solid academic credentials in the philosophy, art, and science of Chiropractic accompanied by hands-on experience in both student instructing and patient education.
