We do everything in our power to relieve your symptoms as quickly and safely as possible while addressing the root triggers for your health concerns.
At Sarasota Chiropractic, our friendly and welcoming wellness team will help you feel at home as soon as you enter our practice. We work closely with each patient to help him or her understand the different treatment options available through our practice. A diagnostic appointment is an important opportunity to learn more about our chiropractic care philosophy, treatment expertise and general approach. Our chiropractor will discuss your immediate pain or injury needs and how chiropractic care can best support your recovery process.
Chiropractic treatment plans generally include three stages: relief care, corrective/restorative care, and wellness care. During the relief care phase, our primary objective is to help you feel better by relieving your symptoms and treating the underlying cause. For example, if you have a shooting pain down your lower back and buttocks, you may be suffering from a pain condition known as sciatica. Sciatica is symptomatic of a herniated or compressed disc in the lumbar spine. During the relief care phase, chiropractic adjustments will help create space within your lumbar vertebra and discs to relieve nerve compression and alleviate this pain.
The second phase of treatment is corrective/restorative care. During this phase, the muscles and other injured soft tissues are able to heal more fully. The goal of this phase is to support your body’s natural healing process while continuing to keep the spine fully aligned. We may integrate complementary treatments, such as massage therapy and physical therapy to help your body during this recovery process. Depending on your injury and pain relief needs, this phase may last between six to 12 months. Finally, during the wellness care phase, your body is fully healed from its injury and chiropractic care is used to reduce the risk for future injury and health problems.
Our Sarasota chiropractors understand that every patient faces unique pain management and injury rehabilitation needs. That’s why all our treatment programs are fully customized to each patient. By integrating complementary treatments with chiropractic care, we help the body heal faster without the need for drugs or surgery.
